Teacher training in Sierra Leone

Volunteers needed to join a team to Sierra Leone with Mission Direct from 28 November -11December 2010 to under take teacher training, mainly in primary schools. All arrangements will be made by Mission Direct. Inclusive cost £1495.

Destiny Education School Inspection Rajasthan India

One or two volunteers needed for two months to undertake a detailed inspection of a boarding school in India.All expenses in India will be covered , possibly visas and one airfare.

Home School week in Thailand

Two volunteers with primary experience needed for one to three weeks in early October, to plan and deliver a home school programme. Especially suitable for new volunteers.
We will continue to monitor the political situation in Thailand and take Foreign Office Advice.

Bangladesh Milestone College

Volunteers needed for this large school near Dhaka, with opportunities to teach, train teachers or share individual skills. Flexible dates between January and March 2011.

Special needs workshop in Lagos Nigeria

Teacher training was presented to 120+teachers, NGO workers and parents. Praise God for opportunities to share with some dedicated people.

Milestone College Bangladesh

One volunteer spent three months at this school, modelling spoken English and teaching.
Comment: Certainly the people of Bangladesh are some of the most openhearted people I have ever met in my life! I am full of gratitude for so much. Above all, I thank God for His faithfulness and mercies.

Sierra Leone

6 volunteers spent 2 weeks in Sierra Leone undertaking teacher training in partnership with Mission Direct. A challenging but worthwhile project.

India – Samaritan School

Three volunteers visited the Samaritan School in Tamil Nadu in November 2009, to help the principal and staff to carry out an evaluation programme. Their recommendations were well received, and they saw many answers to prayer.
